About the Shelter
Several organizations focus exclusively on providing sanctuaries and special care for blind, paralyzed, or permanently disabled dogs that cannot survive on the street.
If you spot an injured or trapped street dog, you can call regional helplines to dispatch an on-wheels medical team to the dog's exact location.
What We Do
Animal Care & Socialization

Dog Walking & Playtime: Help energetic dogs burn off steam with fetch or tug-of-war, or take them on walks.

Cat Socialization: Sit with cats, pet them, and play with wand toys to help them stay friendly and comfortable with humans.

Reading Programs: Many shelters invite people (especially kids) to read books out loud to shy cats and dogs to help them get used to human voices and presence
Operations & Maintenance

Cleaning & Organizing: Shelters constantly need help doing laundry (towels/blankets), washing food bowls, sweeping, and disinfecting kennels.
